This is Your Sign to Remarry Your Spouse!

If you're a regular reader of the blog, you know that I (Catch up on the drama and regret here. have some serious wedding regret. https://thedaydreamerdiaries.com/blog/weddingregret It's always been my plan to renew my vows at five years instead of the traditional ten to heal some of my regrets. I can't believe that August 2023 makes five years already! I'm thrilled to announce that I am getting (re)married this August in Colorado's mountains and flower fields! I am even more thrilled to have The Daydreamer Diaries as my photographer and videographer. Hiring her was easy, and I can't wait to be her client. This is a huge deal, and I can't wait to share the wedding planning process with you.

Kyle & I are getting remarried this year!!

Our why is simple. It’s because we deserve wedding memories that make us happy.

I'm excited to feel like a bride again and experience all the things I missed out on the first time. It's incredibly healing to reconnect with my husband and to plan this adventure. I got married young (He wasn't as young *insert laughing here*), and I feel like we are two completely different people than we were the first time. I have had a lot of mixed reactions to my decision. Some of our family has wondered why we need to plan such an extravagant trip/event. Some people are thrilled that we are reclaiming our relationship and memories. The answer to the question of why is simple for us. We deserve wedding memories that reflect who we are. We're doing this simply because we want to.

Let's say "fuck you" to traditions of vow renewals not being for couples until they've been married 10, 15, or even 25 years. Do it at year one or two just because you want to. Your love deserves to be celebrated just as much when it's young as when it's old. Redo all the memories people ruined for you or didn't reflect who you are now.

We can’t wait to say “fuck you” to traditions!

We are aware that vow renewals are usually reserved for 10, 15, or even 20 years of marriage. We simply do not care and are doing this for us.

Break all the rules and have the wedding of your dreams, even if you've been married. Do anything you want to make memories that make your heart feel full of love.

If you need the push to do something just because you want to, here it is. Let's get inspired together over the next six months to do fun shit for ourselves!
