I honestly cannot believe that 2022 is already coming to a fast and furious close. It’s been an exciting year for the wedding industry because normal life has been somewhat recreated since Covid-19. The past two years have significantly impacted wedding trends because couples realize the importance of quality time spent with loved ones. With that being said, I want to look into some of my personal favorite wedding trends of the 2022 wedding season.
Mixed-Gender Wedding Parties
When you opt to have mixed-gender wedding parties, you have more fluidity and inclusivity to choose the people you love most, regardless of identity. It is especially great for queer couples since their loved ones are usually a community that involves people of all identities. Disregarding the gender traditions of a wedding party allows anyone who is important to the couple to be included without worrying about how to follow traditional wedding “rules.”
