The concept seems so cool to me, especially for those who don’t have a vision of being a traditional bride in white. It would look pretty badass to wear your favorite color and your wedding party in black. Your wedding photos would be unique, that’s for sure. If you decide to forgo a wedding party, wear color and have your guests wear white (unless you get married after Labor Day, of course). There are endless ideas to make this non-tacky and really interesting and different.

What drew me to Katie was her nontraditional approach. Nothing is forced or stand there and say cheese. She knows how to catch movement, authentic laughter and lets the vibe of the shoot speak for itself. Katie isn’t afraid to lean into fun, creative ideas. In fact, her creativity is what speaks volumes about her work being different from others.
